Independence Day in Paris...and some more.

Happy late fourth to everyone in the states! Also, my fourth of July consisted of: 2 museum trips, one bowl of pesto, one chocolate croissant, one orangina, one cranberry cookie, and evening of chilling in the Tuileries, running across some boulevards in Paris, taking an illegal picture in front of the American Embassy and then getting yelled at profusely in French, buying a coke in a cool can then hopping on the metro all around. All in All: a very Happy Independence Day. Then I went the next night to watch the Eiffel sparkle on the hour. It was magical! And then a bunch of people hassled us to guy wine...so yeah. And after many louvre visits and running around Paris like a maniac bent on seeing every work of art...I am finally leaving this Morning for the SOUTH OF FRANCE I am so happy to be getting out of this city. Paris was fun overall, but we just had the worst of luck here, and all of us at one point felt like our lives were at risk because the men here have no limits of what they will do to a young woman...but there was a lot I loved: the Rodin Museum. And gelato shaped like flowers. And of course, the shopping. So Paris was a city of highs and lows...but mostly just me totally porking out on baked goods, lets be real.
